 Vessel Check Program Registration Form
The Danvers Harbormaster’s Office offers a free “Vessel Check Program” to all Danvers boaters.

If you are away from your vessel for an extended period of time, the Vessel Check Program is a service that may be very useful in protecting your boat from loss, damage, and theft.
All fields in the form below are required* in order to process your request. Please be specific when providing information as this will assist our officers when performing checks. If you have any questions, you may call the Danvers Harbormaster’s Office at (978) 762-0210.

Vessel Check Forms submitted on the website are added to the check-list Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Any forms submitted during a weekend will not be added to the check list until the following business day. Do not assume you have been added to the checklist until you have received an email confirmation.

I as owner of the above listed vessel have requested that the Town of Danvers, Harbormaster’s Office check my vessel while I am away. I understand that in participating in the Town of Danvers “Vessel Check Program” employees of the Town may board my vessel from time to time and that the Town of Danvers and its employees take reasonable precaution to avoid damaging my vessel during their checks. I also realize that despite participation in the program, loss or damage to my vessel may occur. By engaging in the Town of Danvers “Vessel Check Program”, I understand and agree that the Town of Danvers, its officers, employees, volunteers, contributors, partners and vessels, are not responsible for any damages or losses that may occur as a result of, or during my participating in the “Vessel Check Program”, and I hereby waive my right to claim any responsibility or liability, in a court of law or admiralty or otherwise, for any damages against Town of Danvers, its officers, employees, volunteers, contributors, partners or vessels.

In consideration of the vessel check service provided by the Town of Danvers without charge, I waive and release any claims against the Town of Danvers for damage to the vessel arising in connection with the provision by the Town of Danvers of the vessel check service, whatever the cause may be.
